Thank you for donating your cake for sale. We will be able a donation form for each submitted. We will have prizes for the top Pound Cakes and all cakes will be sold to support activities for Pack 1919. All Cakes must be homemade!

Attention Parents/Guardians:


We are excited to announce a uniqe collaboration between McDougle Elementary and Occoneechee Council that will bring Scouting to our youth in an afterschool program of scouting at Hickory Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Your child will have the opportunity to benefit from the character and leadership development programs of Scouting. Cost of Scouting associated with registration and participation in Scouting will be covered by Occoneechee Council, Scouts of America.


For your child to participate in the Scouting experience, You will need to give consent for their participation by signing this letter. If you consent, McDougle Elementary School will list your child's information on a roster provided to Occoneechee Council for registration purposes. Scouting meetings will be run by Scoutreach Leaders/Specialists that are Youth Protection Trained certified, and background clearance through the Occoneechee Council, Scouts of America & McDougle Elementary School.

Please sign this letter acknowledging you understand and give your consent to allow your youths to be registered and participate in Scouting and Scouting related activities through the Occoneechee Council, Scouts of America at McDougle Elementary School.

Cub Scout Pact 1919's Field Trip to Camp Durant

June 13, 2025

We're excited to invite Cub Scout Pack 1919 to attend Camp Durant's Cub Scout Day Camp on Friday June 13th. The cost is free. We will provide a charter bus to transport the students from Hickory Grove Missionary Baptist Church 9112 Bethel Hickory Grove Rd, Chapel Hill, NC 27516. Camp Durant (4637 Old Cathage Road in Cathage, NC 28327). A bus or van will leave Hickory Grove Missionary Baptist Church shortly after 8:30 am for Camp Durant. At 5:30 pm, the bus will leave Camp Durant and arrive at Hickory Grove Missionary Baptist Church by 6:30pm. Parents/Guardians are responsible for youth transportation to and from bus. Lion and Tiger Rank must have a parent attend and cannot be dropped off.
